Founder

Jonathan D’Avignon, Ed.S

20 years as a school leader — principal, vice principal, and school founder across public and international schools in the United States, Vietnam, and the UAE. Most recently Vice Principal at North American International School in Dubai, where coordinated assessment programs and academic support drove consistent MAP attainment gains across a middle school of 900+ students.

Earlier in his career he partnered with school development teams to found three schools in Florida — including Seacoast Collegiate High School and the WISE Center / Walton In10sity School of Excellence with its STEAM Magnet Innovation Center — and led a graduating class to $6M+ in scholarships and a top-5% state academic ranking.

He founded Principal In Motion in 2023 to bring that same ground-level, systems-building approach to other school and district leaders, and currently mentors practicing teachers and leaders alongside facilitating the Common Core Bootcamp professional development series in Dubai.
